Days at the Docks features the World's Only "Bopple Race." You get to race your apple down the Intercoastal Waterway with hundreds of others. Starting by throwing them all from the high-rise bridge, the apple to the finish line first wins and the owner gets a special prize.

The North Carolina Festival By The Sea is the largest festival in the South Brunswick Islands, hosted each year by the Greater Holden Beach Merchants Association. This weekend festival starts with a glamorous parade down the Holden Beach Causeway. The "downtown" area under the bridge is closed off and full of arts, crafts, and food vendors. Games and rides are also availble for the younger beach goers. There's something for everyone a the Festival By The Sea.
