So grab you a pot of steaming shrimp while you listen to the island sounds of a local musician and look out at the sleepy sun setting into the intracoastal, or spend an exhilarating day from sun up in the ocean till sundown in the ocean on our white, sandy beaches.

Our beach offers a variety of vacation rental opportunities - Ocean Front and Second Row homes, canal and waterway homes, interior dune homes, gated and non-gated rentals. Beach Front and second row visitors have been enjoying cottages on Holden Beach's oceanfront and boulevard since the early 1930's.

Though there are a wide range of architectural styles, all share a common thread - our 35 foot height restriction. This means no high-rise condos or hotels resulting in low population density and preserving our beautiful ocean views. This has allowed Holden Beach to retain its status as "the family beach" for over 70 years.
